This safari takes you to Lake Manyara National Park the small beautiful lush green park that is famous for the legendary tree-climbing lions but also you will visit the Ngorongoro Crater which is often regarded as the Eden of Africa and Finally Serengeti which offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle.
Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
Depart early morning from the hotel in Arusha to Lake Manyara. The national park is a lovely location; a thin green band of forest, flanked on one side by the cliffs of the Rift Valley Wall, on the other by the shores of the ancient soda lake. Wildlife here is very diverse. In the afternoon we’ll drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at lake manyara wildlife lodge.
Day 2: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
Start with a morning game drive in Serengeti. For animals, that’s an active time of the day – not hot yet, so there is a lot to see out there. Full day game viewing Dinner and Overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
After early breakfast a 4wheel drive vehicle will take you 2000ft down the crater, tracking animals. Picnic lunch at the crater before ascending back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Pre-breakfast game drive ,full breakfast and later drive to Ngorongoro conservation area. On the way back stop for picnic lunch at Oldupai Gorge, a fascinating archeological site with the most famous skull found here belonging to Zinjathropus, known as ‘Nutcracker Man’. He lived about 1.75 million years ago. In the evening arrive at the rim of Ngorongoro Crater Dinner and Overnight in the lodge.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Arusha
The last day starts very early in the morning. Equipped with a picnic lunch descend 2000 ft. down the crater. Explore the huge and deep ngorongoro volcanic crater. There’s rich pasture, swamps, forest and permanent water on the crater floor. That’s why wildlife here is so diverse and numerous. Drive back to Arusha. for dinner and overnight at the budget hotel on own.
