Take in many of the top attractions in this vast and fascinating country – the burnt-red dunes of Sossusvlei, the desolate Skeleton Coast, the quaint quasi-Bavarian seaside town of Swakopmund and the startling geographical features of Damaraland. Search for the desert-adapted elephants and lions and explore two different sections of Etosha National Park – all in the company of your own highly-experienced personal guide

Day 1: Nairobi – Windhoek

On arrival at Windhoek Airport you will be met our representative for the vehicle and welcome pack handover. The day can be spent at your leisure in Windhoek to recover from your journey. Alternatively we can organise an afternoon excursion for you. Windhoek excursions include a city and township tour, horse trails and a visit to a game farm for big cat feeding. Overnight at preferred hotel.

Day 2 & 3: Sossusvlei

Today you have a beautiful scenic drive to reach Sesriem where you will stay for the next 2 days. Activities in the area include driving into the towering red sand dunes of the Namib Desert, guided walks to Deadvlei and Sossusvlei, scenic flights, hot air ballooning, hiking and much more.

The Sossusvlei and Sesriem area possesess a wide variation of accommodation from camping sites and budget accommodation toguest farms and luxury lodges.

Day 4 & 5: Swakopmund

The adventure capital of Namibia. Your tour consultant can organise the following activities for you whilst you are in Swakopmund : Quad biking and sand boarding on the dunes, seal and dolphin cruise, day tour to Sandwich Harbour, skydiving, scenic flights over the Namib Desert.

Swakopmund is a quaint German town which has a great craft market and curio shops. A visit to Karakulia Weavers is highly recommended

Day 6: Southern Damaraland

Damaraland is a stunning Wilderness area. The southern regions are home to Brandberg Mountain as well as the world famous rock paintings of Twyfelfontein, the Petrified Forest, Organ Pipes and Burnt Mountain which you will visit on arrival in Twyfelfontein

Most lodges offer excursions to seek out the elusive desert elephants and other wildlife and we highly recommend this activity to our clients.

Day 7 & 8: Etosha National Park

Etosha is home to 4 of the Big 5 (elephant, rhino, leopard and lion) as well as a vast quantity of game and birdlife.

Self driving your game drives in Etosha is very simple, the park is well laid out and there are many waterholes that you can visit. Should you wish to have a guided game drive or night drive during your stay in Etosha this can be organised by your tour consultant.

Day 9: Waterberg

Waterberg Plateau is a beautiful wilderness area popular with hikers and ramblers. The Waterberg Plateau is also conveniently located at the half way point between Etosha and Windhoek, and is in close proximity to the Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) and Rare and Endangered Species Trust (REST) Vulture restaurant which are well worth a visit.

Day 10: Windhoek

You will return to Windhoek for your onward travels.
